I got up today and called Shaw's in Monson and Tim at the General Store. Shaw's was not there but Tim was and I told him I was heading up that way. He said he would be there. About 10 minutes from the house Dawn from Shaw's called and said she would be around.
About 40 miles into the trip and right after Fairfield on the turn pike it started raining really bad. I have to slow down because the car was actually hydroplaning on the road and I could feel the tires slipping when I stepped on the gas even a little bit. I got behind another car and followed it. We slowed do to 35 mph a few times it was so bad.
After arriving to Monson I went to the General Store and Tim was not there. I told them I would go to Shaw's and see Dawn and come back.
I arrived at Dawn house and she invited me in. After talking to Dawn and getting the low down of Monson and what has been going on over the last year she agreed to carry our southbound edition book and if they sold she would call and order some more. I like Dawn she is such a nice person and seems genuinely honest. I hated to leave but I had to stop off at the General Store and see Tim still.
I arrived at the store and talked to Tim about all the goings on in Monson. Tim agreed to take two of the books just to see how they would sell first. He told me he would call when he sold out of ours and get some more.
