Just recently visited the Harper's Creek Shelter and loaded a few photos under the new state category. I will be adding more taken from the trail head on Route 56 crossing over the Tye River as soon as I can. So keep an eye on the photos section.
This is an easy out and back day hike about 5.2 miles round trip. There are plenty of great camp sites beside of the shelter and access to water is only a few feet away.
