Here's a little-advertised tidbit from the Trail Days agenda:

"7PM Wednesday
Hiker Service under the tents in First Baptist Church parking lot (Bobby Jon Drinkard – from Survivor Palau and Survivor Guatemala – will speak."

Being part of the Survivor cast twice makes him only a minor celebrity, but it would seem that the event would work harder to milk some publicity from his appearance.

I was hoping to make it but my 34 year old son had to go into the hosipital for a heart problem. His wife says he is fine, but I want to stay close to home for a while. Man I miss the trail.
