If we send a package and our hiker passes there without stopping - can we mark the box to return to sender after a week, or something like that?

call where you sent it. i'm sure they will work out a cost and plans to return or forward. i was shocked how nice the US Postal system was at home and on the trail. the 08070 office was following my hike:)
