Hello!
I am seeking hiking partners (preferably at least two, with at least one female) for a hike of the 100 Mile Wilderness in Maine. I have not hiked it previously, but I have several friends who have and have given me a fairly good description of the terrain, gear and what to watch out for.
I would love to talk with/meet with you if you have any interest in hiking this section of the AT with me! I am from Maine originally, but I currently live in NYC, so meeting up may be difficult.
I am quite open to dates, though I'm thinking mid to late August would be the best time, as the trail is not quite so water-covered and the worst of the blackflies are gone!
